This is the installer for our full-time remote software.
Once installed, this software continues to run in the background at all times. This allows us to initiate a remote connection without requiring human intervention. We will only access your computer if you give us permission.

Installation Instructions

- Save the file, then double click to start the installer. If prompted by your security software, allow the installer to run.
- Choose a typical installation, and then install for both personal & commercial use.
- Enter a password and share it with your CTNY Tech consultant. It can be anything - we are going to change it anyway.
- Finish the installation. Then, we'll take it from there.

We would still lose access to your computer if...
|

- We restart your computer, but cannot log-in because you haven't shared your credentials with us.
- Your computer is in sleep mode (this may happen automatically after several minutes of inactivity).
- Your computer is shut down, or your power cable is unplugged.
- Your computer has no active network connection (WiFi, Ethernet, etc).

To disable or remove our full-time remote software

On a Windows computer...
- Right-click on the TeamViewer icon (blue square with a white circle inside) located on the bottom/right corner of your screen. You may have to click an arrow first to reveal it. Choose "Exit TeamViewer."
- Our remote software will automatically resume after you restart your computer.
- Or, you may simply uninstall the software labelled "TeamViewer 11 Host" in your programs list.
- This can be found by navigating through Start ➔ Control Panel ➔ Programs and Features.
On an Apple computer...
- Find the TeamViewer icon: Look for a double arrow inside a circle that is inside a box. This is located on the top/right corner of your screen.
- Hold down the "Ctrl" button on your keyboard while clicking the icon. Choose "Exit TeamViewer."
- Our remote software will automatically resume after you restart your computer.
- Or, you may simply uninstall the software labelled "TeamViewer Host" in your Applications folder.
- Navigate to the Applications folder through the Finder or by doing a search for "Applications."
- Uninstall the program by dragging the "TeamViewer Host" icon to the Trash located in the lower/right corner of your screen.
